  • 10 Underrated QWOC Books to Add to Your TBR Pile

There’s like a zillion books available today (statistic totally made up by yours truly), which makes it easy for some of the most amazing and powerful stories to fly under the radar. • President Bae (Free Preview)

Episode 1: SEEING THE LADY WHO REGULARLY EATS YOUR ASS ON TV IS LOW-KEY WEIRD “Turn that up,” I asked, standing behind the love seat that separated the living room and kitchen area.  Toya looked up at me and the bowl of cereal I had teetering in one hand and rolled her eyes, “Never knew…

  • 5 Black Lesbian Books You Should Read in August 2024

August kinda feels like the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Ignore the fact that it’s still 103 degrees in Dallas right now. And that the fall equinox isn’t until the end of September. Growing up, August meant the end of summer break which basically meant it was fall. (This is my blog…

  • All The Women That I’ve Fucked #003

October 25, 2014 12:17 PM Nesha I needed this, I told myself, raising the red Solo cup to my lips once again. I was over-indulging and I knew it. But it was okay because that was the whole point of this weekend, returning to my alma mater for homecoming festivities. Reliving not so long ago…

  • All The Women That I’ve Fucked #002

April 19, 2023 11:24 AM Love Down on her knees, she looked up at me with her hypnotizingly dark eyes. I lay my fingers–soaking wet with her juices–against her bottom lip. She wrapped her tongue around them. Once. Then twice. Then pulled them into her mouth. “Mmmmm,” she cooed, sucking them until they were clean.…

  • All The Women That I’ve Fucked #001

April 19, 2023 11:14 AM Love It’d been a week of fantasizing about this moment– her juicy booty bent over in front of me as she leans across my desk. I rub my hands across one cheek and then the other. Notice how the stitching of her scrubs stretches against her curves. Something about scrubs…

  • [Short Story] New Year Resolution

In the middle of our brunch date, Yvonne asked me to go with her to a New Year’s Eve party. She told me she had two tickets to some event called Lights On. I laughed nervously, thinking about ringing in the new year alongside Yvonne and a couple hundred strangers.    “I can’t think of the…

  • Hotel Room

“You’re quiet,” Corey asked, as I followed her down the fourth-floor hallway to her room. I just couldn’t believe how much could go wrong in just a couple of hours. First the airline lost my luggage and then we arrived to the hotel to find my reservation had been canceled. It was as if it…

  • First Taste

My smile widened, reading the card attached to the flowers. Something to make you feel better. My heart fluttered with excitement. No one had ever done anything as thoughtful as having flowers delivered to my job before.  By my co-workers expressions, I could tell they were equally impressed. Sarah tapped me, “Crack open this…

  • How Do You Know – Part Two

How Do You Know – Part Two

A few weeks later, I asked Sahara if she wanted to accompany to lady’s night at Club 69, the hottest gay club. I was happy she invited her usual crew because I wanted the opportunity to mingle without her being a cock block with a bunch of straight girl questions.  “Is Keke coming out,” I…

  • How Do You Know – Part One

How Do You Know – Part One

“How do you know…or I guess how did you figure out that you liked women,” Sahara asked.  I gave her the side eye. She made an assumptive comment a few days ago about her not expecting me to be a lesbian because of the way I looked and I let that slide. Now we were…
